ADH Electrical is primarily a family business that was started by David Hills in 1993, with D L Hills Electrical, when he left British Telecom after 10 years as a telephone engineer and became a self employed electrician.

D L Hills Electrical became a member of the Federation of Small Businesses and build up a strong customer base.

When David's son Adrian Hills left Seeboard and came to join D L Hills Electrical, the company renamed itself ADH Electrical Services, and registered as a limited company.

In December 2006 Dan Hills left C H. Seymour after completing his Apprenticeship and also joined the family business as a fully qualified electrician.
